Definitions of GameTech 2.0 - Camp

GameTech 2.0, Game Development - Imagine-Design-Code-Play-Share series of camps, lets high school students explore and develop their favorite games. Create your own story, build your own game characters, and make your own game. Explore and Learn Game Science and Technologies while having fun. Play and Share! Optionally, Compete in local and national game development competitions. Discover your passion!

  • Explore game genres and learn to apply Game Development Life Cycle©  (GDLC)

  • Review game development platforms and technologies

  • Design and develop your own game project.

  • Explore 2 & 3-D game objects.

  • Apply Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math, and Soft skills (STEAMS).

  • Write developer logs and document each game project.

  • Demonstrate the games to peers and guest audience.
Technologies and Game Development Platform: Minecraft, Python 3.x, PyGame, Java, C# and Unity
Level: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced level courses available. Students are placed in the appropriate level based on their entry level knowledge and skills.

Spring Camp Schedule:

  • Day Camp - April 3 - April 7 || All-Day: 9AM - 4PM ||

Please Note: No half-day camps available.

First-time participants with no prior experience are welcome!
